A tool that helps you spot scams, block known scam websites, and — on paid plans — keep watching the links, websites, senders and numbers you save and alert you when they become risky, and protect your household. Scam-call and scam-text protection arrives with the Viper iPhone app (in limited beta). It is a strong layer of protection, not a guarantee. No scam filter catches everything. Always use your own judgment before sending money or personal information, and when in doubt, contact the person or company through a number you already trust.
The free service

Checking messages for scams is free, with no account required. Free site-blocking options require a supported browser or DNS setup. We create an anonymous ID so the tools work. Fair-use limits may apply to keep the service available for everyone.
Paid plans

Checking messages for scams stays free. Paid plans are optional and belong to a signed-in Viper account.
- Pro ($4.99/month or $39.99/year, with a 7-day free trial) adds iPhone scam-call blocking and scam-text filtering after setup, and removes the iPhone app’s monthly photo-check quota. On the website, Pro includes Viper Watch: Viper re-checks the links, websites, senders and numbers you save and alerts you in the app if one becomes risky (email alerts are not available yet). The iPhone features are in beta; the iPhone app is not publicly available yet. Message and photo checks on the website are already free. Fair-use service limits still apply; photo analysis cannot guarantee authenticity.
- Family ($12.99/month or $99.99/year, with a 30-day free trial, up to 6 people) includes Pro for the household, and lets you create a household and invite members. Protection-off alerts and the organizer’s block on AI apps and sites work only on household phones using DNS Shield in the iPhone app, which is in limited beta and not publicly available. Browser Guard’s own optional AI-site setting is separate and applies only in the browser it is installed in. Viper does not currently provide universal detection or blocking of AI-generated content. Some checks can inspect supported provenance signals, such as Content Credentials. Broader detection and filtering of AI-generated content is still being developed.
- Premium Credits, where offered (500 credits for $4.99), are a one-time purchase, not a subscription. They are not currently offered for sale on the website. They are held on your account and do not expire. No Viper feature spends credits yet; they are reserved for premium model checks planned for a later release.
Web billing

- Purchases on viperai.co are processed by Stripe. Viper never receives or stores your full card details.
- Pro and Family subscriptions renew automatically at the price shown when you subscribed, monthly or yearly, until you cancel.
- A free trial starts when you subscribe. Unless you cancel before it ends, it converts to a paid subscription and your payment method is charged the plan’s price on the day the trial ends, and on each renewal after that.
- Each Viper account can have one free trial, across Pro and Family. An account that has already had a trial, or has subscribed before, can subscribe without one.
- If a renewal payment fails, your plan stays on for up to 7 days while Stripe retries the payment. Update your payment method in Manage billing during that time to avoid interruption. If payment still hasn’t gone through after 7 days, paid features pause; your saved watches and history are kept.
- You can cancel at any time from Account → Plan & billing → Manage billing. Cancelling stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, or the end of the trial.
- Premium Credits are charged once, when you buy them.
- Prices are in US dollars and may change with notice. A price change applies to your subscription only from a renewal after the notice.
- You can cancel subscriptions at any time. Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we determine a refund is appropriate. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support.
- If you delete your account while a web subscription is active, the subscription stops renewing. You can keep access until the end of the period you have paid for (or your trial), after which your account and its data are deleted, and you can keep your account any time before then. Or you can delete now, which ends the plan immediately and deletes your account and data right away. Deleting an account does not by itself issue a refund.
App Store billing

Any subscription purchased in the iPhone app is billed by Apple through your Apple ID and is governed by Apple’s terms; manage or cancel it in your Apple subscription settings. Your account & conduct

Family features
